First time I’ve met Philippe and Claire in Mykonos, and from that on we became friends; so, that’s the reason why I waited such a long time for this event to take place. And I’m very eager to share this unique wedding with everyone.
In the first place, I loved the fact that they chose for the big occasion an exquisite destination, rich in lush vineyards and “guarded by” the wild Saint Emilion Mountain. As well, for shooting in this ambiance I took advantage of the warm lovely light that gave voice to the scenery. Without exception, I’ve been surprised – not only had a mysterious full moon appeared up in the daylight, but also this gave an amazing romantic touch to the landscape.
I moved further to the majestic mansion, over there the bridegroom was getting ready. Together with Philippe were groomsman and colleagues members of the army that took their job with maximum dedication. When every detail was set, the group went directly to church and there they wait for Claire to arrive. Meanwhile, Claire was having a relaxing time on make-up and after all was done, the bridesmaids helped her dressing. As you can remark this moment had a special energy, Claire looked stunning in her splendid dress and the pictures had a lovely allure. The bride’s parents came in, and they were all good to go at the church.
Claire experienced very emotional moments, while her father led her to the altar where Philippe was expectant. I haven’t seen for a long time such a religious ceremony; everyone paid serious attention and every step was accompanied by vivid feelings. Heavenly music along with the parents and the closer friends’ excitement made the event a meaningful day for the happy couple. The wedding carried on with cocktails, outside near the place of the wedding reception. Here the quests socialized and enjoyed the truly spectacular view. Even if the photo sessions with the newlyweds took less the ten minutes, the result was significant. The joys of love were embodied by the two; also the place suggested the spirit of patience and tenderness. Moreover, sunset light added lustre to the garden and the facades; it created nice fusions and the human passions were revealed.
After the photo session, we moved out at the restaurant and get the party started. The thing that called the attention, was a clip prepared by Philippe’s friends. The video told the story of Philippe, who went missing from the army and was found on an island with his future bride – Claire. Afterwards this original moment, the party continued on the dancing ring, and further on with delicious cakes, fireworks and charming atmosphere. On all accounts, everyone had a marvelous time until late in the night.
I wish the married couple a wonderful life, full of breathtaking moments and happiness!
